Hi!
Hi! I'm Mon.

During my first years living in Germany, I taught Spanish to adults in the Volkshochschule. That was a great working experience that allowed a lot of creativity and the opportunity to transmit knowledge to my students.
I've always been fascinated by design and the plastic arts (you can actually spot one of my watercolour paintings in the background of this website!).
How could I blend my passion for teaching with my love for design? It was a question that found its answer in the field of Instructional Design

I studied a Master's Degree in E-learning and Knowledge Management, enrolled in the IDOL academy.
I believe that good training should not only consider the learning objectives but also address the problems that the organization and/or the learners are facing, and how we can help solve them with good learning design.

I like to apply different design models depending on the course content, learning objectives, and learners' profile: SAM, ADDIE, CCAF, Backwards Design and Design Thinking.
And of course, because we are designing for adults, I apply the principles of Knowles' Andragogy, the Elements of Strategic Design from Vignati (micro-learning, gamification, real learners context, interaction, etc), and the Effective Learning Design from Polymenakou (achieve the learning objectives, accurate, relevant, etc).

Along my Instructional Design journey, I have used software like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Iseazy, Udutu, PowerPoint, Procreate, Canvas, Sketchbook, LMS365, and Moodle.

But let's move beyond theory! I invite you to explore some illustrative samples from my repertoire of learning design projects.
